The City of Stratford is calling it a generous donation of potentially life-saving equipment for first responders and front-line workers.
Several thousand surgical face masks, KN-95 respirator masks and safety glasses arrived in Stratford last week, and will be shared by the Stratford Police Service, the Stratford Fire Department, and other organizations in Stratford and Perth County.
The masks were a free donation from a businessperson from China and a Stratford resident.
The delivery of the equipment to Stratford was facilitated by the Canadian Consulate in China.
