The West Nile Virus so far hasn’t wormed its way into Perth county.
But it is close.
The nasty illness has been confirmed in the London-Middlesex area.
The health unit over there says two of the traps tested positive for West Nile.
The virus is spread through mosquito bites.
Protect yourself by cleaning up standing water on your property, wearing bright colours while out and about, covering up as much skin as possible and using bug spray with DEET.
