A 37-year-old Stratford man faces charges after police say he assaulted officers.
SPS says the man was arrested on Tuesday after a number of offences at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Ontario Street.
He was held in custody with a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
Shortly after 9:15 Wednesday morning, police say the male assaulted one of Stratford Police Service’s Special Constables during the officer’s interaction with him.
The officer wasn’t hurt but while being brought back to jail, police say the man assaulted two other officers including biting one.
The officer wasn’t injured and the man now faces several counts of Assaulting a Peace Officer and Mischief Under $5-thousand.
