Make it eight days since there have been any new cases of COVID-19 in Huron Perth.
In an update posted Monday afternoon, Huron Perth Public Health says the number of confirmed cases of the virus in the region remains at 49.
2,020 people have been tested for COVID-19 in the area with over 97-per cent coming back negative.
There are 98 tests pending.
Five people have died from the virus in the region while 39 have recovered.
