Hemstock, Ken

It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of our son, brother and uncle Kenneth Hemstock. On May 23, 2020 he was called back to his mothers side.

Ken was a student of Downie Central Public School and then Stratford Northwestern High School where he was a proud Huskie football player. After high school Ken ventured to the West to find work and ended up coming back to Ontario where he worked for Nicholson Concrete for many years. He lived in the St. Pauls suburbs where he was always a participant in the St. Pauls boat races. Ken was a simple, fun loving guy.

Predeceased by his mom Helen Hemstock in 2012. Survived by his father Lloyd Hemstock (Joyce Petrie) of Stratford; sister Debra Hemstock of Stratford and brother Dan Hemstock (Brenda) of RR#7 St. Pauls. His 5 nephews Chace (Abbey), Brandon (Kristina), Danny (Sarah), Brett and Jake. He was very proud of being a great uncle to Benjamin, Jack and Lennon. Also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Rest in peace brother, we love you.

A private family service will take place. A celebration of Ken’s life will take place when the restrictions of Covid 19 are over. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Stratford General Hospital through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. 519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
