It’s some impressive stats when it comes to Stratford’s green bin program.
During the first two weeks of May, officials say a total of 57 tonnes of organic material was collected as part of the green bin program.
Since the program began last month, a total of more than 128 tonnes of organic material has been collected, which is the equivalent of about 5,800 bags of garbage that have been kept out of the landfill so far.
