Another long-running local event has been canceled over COVID-19.
The 2020 Mitchell and District Agricultural Society’s Fall Fair has been canceled.
President Steve Mohr says in a statement “it is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the Mitchell Fall Fair 2020. While we did not make this decision lightly, the safety of our community and all of our volunteers is our main concern.”
A virtual youth class exhibits and an altered roadside display competition are still in the works, according to the Ag Society.
