There will be a free swim and pizza party on Friday at the Stratford Lions Pool.

The event is being hosted by Simple Dreams.

Organizer Richard Kneider says there will be food provided.

Kneider co-founded Simple Dreams with his wife Ruth to help out the working poor in our community.

He says people out there who are working hard but still can’t pay the bills have needs you wouldn’t even think of.

Kneider says the level of poverty in our area amongst people who work hard for a living is staggering.

This Friday’s swim runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Kneider highly recommends people get there early on Friday to make sure they get in.
