Provincial funding on the way to Stratford to help with transit bus cleaning

Additional funding is on the way to the City of Stratford to enhance the cleaning of city buses.

The funding is coming from Ontario which is providing $15-million to municipalities across the province to support the enhanced cleaning and help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

Stratford is eligible to receive an allocation of up to $19,267 through the funding.

The city has been conducting daily cleaning and disinfecting of buses since March.
