A cyclist is recovering from minor injuries and one person has been charged after a collision between a car and the cyclist in West Perth.
Around 5 o’clock Monday afternoon, first responders were called to a collision at the intersection of Montreal Street and St. Andrew Street, Mitchell.
Police say their investigation revealed that the cyclist was bumped at low speed by the vehicle as the bicycle turned onto Montreal Street.
The 70-year-old cyclist was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
As a result, a 43-year-old from West Perth has been charged with Fail to Yield to Traffic on Through Highway.
