The Director of Education for the Avon Maitland District School Board says their goal is to have everything in place for the start of school.
In a statement sent to MyStratfordNow, Dr. Lisa Walsh says after being provided direction from the provincial government on the return to school in September the board will now move forward to finalize the details of their plan.
She says the plans will include pre-screening processes, enhanced cleaning protocols, mask requirements, signage and so on.
Dr. Walsh says there is a great deal of work required in the next four weeks and their goal is to have everything in place for the start of school.
