Perth County OPP are searching for clues after a victim suffered a possible gunshot wound.
Shortly after 9 o’clock Wednesday night, police say they received a report of a suspicious incident that had happened at a home on Line 36, in West Perth.
It was determined that a male had attended a local hospital in Perth County with a serious injury.
Police say it’s not known how the injury was caused but initial information suggests that it may have been a possible gunshot wound.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation had revealed that this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to public safety.
Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
