Thirteen new active COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth

There are thirteen new active COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth.

Huron Perth Public Health updated their information Tuesday afternoon with the new cases included.

Overall, with the new cases added in, there are now 26 active cases of the virus in the region.

HPPH reported six new COVID-19 cases on Monday, and said they expected to report more on Tuesday based on testing carried out over the weekend.

They say all of Monday’s cases are associated with a workplace outbreak in Bluewater/South Huron, and many of them are clusters within the same households.

The updated data on the HPPH website doesn’t say where Tuesday’s cases are coming from.

Overall, there have been 106 confirmed cases of the virus in the region.
