Police say a 26-year-old Stratford man has arrested for committing an indecent act in public.
Shortly after 8 o’clock Monday morning, Stratford Police say a concerned citizen contacted them after seeing a male committing the act just off of the foot path along the north side of the Avon River.
Officers found the man hiding in some bushes.
They say he took off running but was arrested without further incident after a short foot chase.
He now has a court date scheduled for November.
