Perth County OPP say a driver faces impaired charges after they were found sleeping behind the wheel.
Just after three o’clock last Saturday afternoon, police say they received a report of a person passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel.
When police arrived on scene, they say they found the driver asleep behind the wheel.
The officer was able to wake the driver, and determined that they were impaired by alcohol.
The 31-year-old driver from North Perth was arrested and brought to a local OPP detachment for further testing and now faces impaired charges.
A seven day driving suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
