Holloway, Ruth

Ruth Elizabeth Holloway, age 94, a lifelong resident of Stratford passed away peacefully at People Care on September 6, 2014.  Loving mother of Faye Reinhart (George), Bruce Weames (Irene), Janet Saunders (Paul), Kathy Lauze (Robert) and RobertHolloway. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert Shore (Carol) and their family. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Frank Holloway April 7, 1995. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St. Stratford on Tuesday, September 9, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Avondale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society through the funeral home.www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
