Keith Clutton

Keith Clutton, age 87, of Spruce Lodge and formerly Greenwood Court, Stratford passed away at Stratford General Hospital on December 17, 2020. He was born in Stratford on October 10, 1933 and was son of the late William John Clutton and the former Dorothy Keys Hunter.

Keith had been employed at the Public Utilities Commission for 38 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Ontario Street Baptist Church where he had been actively involved for many years. He also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity Stratford-Perth and Camp Hermosa.

Beloved husband of the late Ellen Rose McTavish, whom he married at Preston on July 16, 1955. Dear father of Mary Ellen Wren and husband Doug, David Clutton and wife Sharon, Douglas Clutton and wife Valerie and Marjorie Rooke and husband Warren. Beloved grandfather of Ben Clutton and Katie Rayfield, Tim and Andy Clutton, Emily and Jessica Rooke. Dear brother of Gavin Clutton and wife Emily, Joyce Thomas and husband Gary and Ralph Clutton and wife Charlotte. Brother-in-law of Bill McTavish and wife Joanne.  Lovingly remembered by many great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and their families.

As well as his parents he was predeceased by a sister-in-law Francis Clutton, brother-in-law Rev. Richard McTavish and his wife Joan, Donald McTavish in infancy.

Relatives and friends will be received at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, December 20, from 2-4 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation must register with the funeral home by phone or email. A private family service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. with interment at Avondale Cemetery. Keith’s service will be livestreamed and is available below his obituary on the funeral home website.
