McClement, Kathryn

Kathryn Margaret McClement, age 83, lifelong resident of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late William and Inez (Grasby) McClement. Kathryn was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church her entire life, and very involved for many years with activities at the church as longtime assistant treasurer and the Friends of St. Paul’s group. Kathryn was a retired Bank of Nova Scotia employee. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her dear friend Joyce Steinacker. Kathryn is survived by cousins Bob (Carol) Grasby, Tom (Deb) Grasby, Karen (Chuck) Viaene, Michael (Katharine) Grasby, Paul (Jean) Grasby, Faye Savage, Carol (Carl) Pfeffer, Doreen Grasby, Marie Woodrow, Lorne McClelland, June Grasby and their families. Besides her parents, Kathryn was predeceased by a brother in infancy and cousins Jack Grasby, Lawrence Grasby, Connie McClelland, Ron (Helen) Grasby, Carmen Grasby and good friend Gerald Landers.  A private family funeral will take place with interment in St. Marys Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
