The Perth District Health Unit is urging people to stop giving cigarettes to underage smokers.
The message is part of a province-wide “Bad Ways to Be Nice” campaign.
According to a recent survey, 72% of Canadian youth say their main source of cigarettes is family or friends.
The PDHU says this kind of enabling just perpetuates addiction, disease and even death.
