Perth County OPP say one person has been charged with assault after a domestic incident on the side of the road in Shakespeare.
Just before 5:30 in the afternoon on February 10th, police say they received a report from concerned citizens about a domestic incident that was happening just outside of a vehicle that was stopped on Perth Line 34.
During the investigation, officers say they learned that one person had been assaulted.
The victim wasn’t injured in the assault.
A 56-year-old Pickering resident has been charged with Assault, Spousal.
They have a future court appearance scheduled in Stratford.
