Over $2.9 million in funding is on the way from Ontario to Perth-Wellington.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says local municipalities are getting nearly $2.5 million in new funding to address COVID-19 related operating costs.
Nearly $500,000 is also on the way for municipalities that operate transit systems.
Taken together, the new funds amount to over $2.9 million for the local area.
