Easter is coming early for the St.Marys Fire Department.
An anonymous donor has given the department $12,000 to go towards purchasing new firefighting nozzles and helmets.
The new 38 millimetre nozzles will replace the current aging nozzles that have been well used with the new ones designed to help keep firefighters safe.
They add they currently have helmets that are nearing the end of their life cycle.
St.Marys Fire Chief Richard Anderson says the donation could mean the difference between life and death.
