Heimpel, Ervin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Ervin ( Erv) William Heimpel age 65 of Stratford on Tuesday December 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and soul mate. Born in Stratford son of the late Irvin and Margaret “Peg” (Whaling) Heimpel. Erv leaves behind his loving wife Mary (Anderson) Heimpel. His daughters Mellanie Heimpel (Jeff Older), Stephanie (David) Culliton, Melissa Knight (Joe Barbosa) and Kelly (Matt) Lingard. Erv’s seven grandchildren which he adored; Garrett, Levi & Harley Culliton, Camden & Danika Lingard and Colby & Shaylyn Older. Erv leaves his sisters Sue (Heimpel) Dixon and Margaret (Gorsline) Taylor, his special friend and sister-in-law Diane Gorsline, along with his father-in-law, sister and brother-in-laws, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Erv was predeceased by a brother Robert (Bob) Gorsline and brother-in-laws Don Dixon and Terry Taylor. In keeping with Erv’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Erv’s Life will be held on Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Arden Park Hotel from 3-7 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the LHSC-Victoria Campus Adam Linton Dialysis Unit through the funeral home. 519-271-7411. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
