Stratford Police continue to investigate after a sign was stolen from a business in the city.
SPS says they received a report on April 5th from the staff at The Barkery that one of their signs, that had been bolted to a rod-iron fence at the businesses old location on George Street, had been stolen.
The sign was announcing that the business had moved around the corner to their new location at 130 Downie Street.
Police say they have since received video surveillance obtained of the theft, which was shown to have happened on April 1st just before midnight.
The surveillance shows a white SUV travelling west on George Street West, which parks in front of the business currently located at 4 George Street West, where The Barkery sign was posted.
Two unknown individuals exit the SUV and remove the sign from the fence and then place it in the back of the vehicle before leaving the area and continuing to travel west on George Street West.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Stratford Police or Crime Stoppers.
