Two people charged in drug trafficking investigation

Two people have been charged in a drug trafficking investigation.

Community Street Crime Unit’s from Huron-Perth and Wellington County say they stopped a vehicle just after 10 o’clock at night on April 26th on Sixth Line in Wellington County.

Police say the two people in the vehicle were found in possession of Meth and Hydromorphone, as well as a number of memorial plaques, which were later determined to be stolen.

The total estimated value of the drugs is approximately $1,800.

A 28-year-old man from Grand Valley and a 33-year-old woman from Palmerston both face drug related charges.

The two have future court appearances in Stratford.
