Albert James Bridges. Served with the RAF 1940-1946, age 94, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor on Tuesday October 7, 2014 Son of the late Ernest and Jessie (Brown) Bridges. Loving husband of the late Elizabeth (Stirling) Bridges whom he married in Stratford on May 22, 1943 and predeceased Albert on February 18, 1999. Loving father of James (Gisela) Bridges, Barbara Bridges and Carolyn (Bob) Strawbridge all of Stratford. Dear grandfather of Rob (Deb) Strawbridge, Susan (Jamie) Higgins, Becky (Jeff) Fleming, Jason Bridges and partner Nikki, Corey (Heather) Bridges, Jeff (Nancy) Bridges, Todd Bridges and partner Denise. Great grandfather of Dawn, Tyler, Emily, Leisha, Joshua, Riley Hailey, Colin, Miles, Zackary, Ethan, Owen and Sarah and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Albert was predeceased by his sister Edna Mary Bryan. As per Albert’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
