City workers in Stratford won’t be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19

City workers won’t be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Stratford.

As of October 22nd, employees, volunteers and contractors in the city will be required to show proof of being vaccinated.

However, people who aren’t vaccinated or decide not to reveal their vaccination status won’t be fired.

They will have to go to an education session about the benefits of getting their shots.

The policy was presented to Stratford City Council at their virtual regular meeting this week.
