Forecast not looking too scary for Halloween

The weather for Halloween isn’t looking too spooky.

Environment Canada Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says while Saturday will be a wet day with showers, most of the rain will be over by Sunday in time for kids to go out trick or treating in the evening.

He says Halloween day will be cloudy with a high of around 10 or 11 degrees and it will drop down below that as the sun goes down.

Kimbell says it is a good idea to make sure you’re warm before heading out.

“Dress warmly of course, but it won’t be bitterly cold nor should it be bucketing down rain.”

Kimbell says one thing we don’t have to worry about on Sunday is snow but he adds we could see a few flurries sometime next week.
