Schulthies, Ruth

Ruth Marlene Schulthies, age 84, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2021. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Peter and Laura (Wilker) Hansen.

Beloved wife of the late Ronald Schulthies who predeceased her February 5, 2012. Loving mother of Paul (Tracy) and John (Melissa). Grandmother of Matthew (Starr), Shane and Troy. Also survived by sister Shirley Bell, many nieces and nephews and longtime friend Sharon LeBlanc.

Ruth worked at Lawson Killer for many years. She was an avid bridge player, dog lover, enjoyed traveling with friends and entertaining around the pool.

A private family interment will be held at Avondale Cemetery on Thursday, November 25, 2021. A celebration of Ruth’s life will follow at her home on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. All are welcome.
