The number of schools with active COVID-19 outbreaks continues to grow in our region.
Updated data from Huron Perth Public Health shows an outbreak has been declared at Howick Central Public School.
It brings the number of schools with current outbreaks to eight.
Meanwhile, there were 22 new cases of the virus reported in Huron Perth on Thursday.
St.Marys and Stratford have 5 new cases each with another two in North Perth and one in Perth East.
The rest are in Huron County.
There are 121 active cases in the area.
