Pet owners in Stratford will have to wait a bit longer to get tags for 2022.
City officials say the tags aren’t available from the manufacturer yet because of a material shortage and they are anticipating they will be available by mid-January.
All dogs and cats in Stratford are required to wear a registration tag at all times with the current tags expiring on December 31st.
An update will be posted on the city’s social media when the new tags are ready.
