Police are reminding you to keep your vehicle locked after a car that was left running was stolen in Listowel.
Perth County OPP say they responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from a driveway at a home on Victoria Avenue North just before 9 o’clock Monday morning.
It had been left running and unattended.
Officers later located the vehicle in another OPP jurisdiction, but before it was found in a ditch, the driver failed to stop for police, and fled.
Drivers should consider installing security features, such as increased lighting, cameras, or alarms.
