Environment Canada has a Special Weather Statement in effect for Perth County with freezing rain expected to begin late Wednesday night.
The rain, mixed with possible ice pellets, is expected to fall over Thursday afternoon into the evening.
That will make way for blowing snow with 10 to 20 centimetres possible.
The storm is expected to come to an end sometime on Friday.
