You’re being called on for your support after a dog was hit by a car in Perth East.
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth says a resident witnessed the collision last week and called them for help.
Animal Services officers found the dog severely injured and it was determined he suffered a fractured back leg, fractured toes and other wounds.
An appeal was put out on Facebook for his owner to come forward but has so far been unsuccessful.
The dog’s care is estimated to be over $7,000 and the humane society is hosting an urgent appeal to raise funds.
