Staffing shortages cause more hospitals to temporarily reduce hours

Staff shortages are leading to more hospitals temporarily cutting back on their hours in our region.

The Clinton Public Hospital is closing its Emergency Department on Saturday reopening at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the St.Marys Memorial Hospital will close its Emergency Department from 5 p.m. on Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone with a health emergency should call 9-1-1 and paramedics will reroute patients to the nearest available Emergency Department.
