Graver, Floyd

Floyd William Graver, 90, of Tavistock passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. He was born in Ellice Township, Perth County on May 8, 1932 a son of the late David and Elizabeth (Weisgerber) Graver.

He had farmed in Ellice Township until retiring in 1992. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sebastopol-Tavistock.

He was predeceased by his wife, Elaine Margaret (Gaines) (Wood) Graver on January 17, 2020.

Floyd is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Elliott (Bob), Cheryl Steckly (Robert); two grandchildren, Matthew Steckly (Steph DeLorme), Marcia Rowett (Brad); one great grandson, Jude Rowett; one brother, Arnold Graver (Pearl).

He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Donald Johns.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Friday from 3-5 p.m. and on Saturday September 3, 2022 from 1-1.45 in the West Room of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sebastopol-Tavistock where the funeral service will be held in the church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bonnie Shelter Brown will officiate. Reception following. Interment in Grace United Cemetery, Tavistock will follow the reception.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Improvement Fund would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home by calling 519-655-2431.
