The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says the outbreak is on the Inpatient Unit at the hospital.
The unit will not be taking any admissions during the outbreak. Family and caregiver visits have been restricted with the only exception for palliative patients at the end of life.
An outbreak is declared when two or more patients or staff test positive for COVID and it is determined the virus could have been picked up in the hospital.
Testing and contact tracing is now taking place.
