Over 230 charges were laid by Perth County OPP during Canada Road Safety Week.
The spotlight was put on the big four factors in serious collisions during the campaign, Impaired Driving, Distracted Driving, Aggressive Driving, and Failure to wear a Seatbelt.
Of the local charges, 140 were for speeding, six were for impaired driving, and 70 others were for other Highway Traffic Act offenses.
While the campaign is over, police say they are committed to road safety all year long and will remain a visible presence on local roads.
