Provincial funding worth $100,000 helping Perth County OPP address partner/domestic violence

Perth County OPP will use $100,000 in provincial funding to help support victims and survivors of intimate partner/domestic violence, human trafficking, and child exploitation.

Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says the money is coming from the Victim Support Grant program and he says it’s an important investment, which supports the most vulnerable in our rural communities.

As a society, Rae says we must continue to provide support for victims and their families in their time of greatest need.

Ontario is also investing over $2 million in the Partner Assault Response program to help break the cycle of intimate partner violence and keep communities safe.
