The average homeowner in St. Marys will pay $141 more in property taxes this year than in 2023.
The town has officially approved this year’s budget, which includes a 4.11 percent property tax increase.
Water and sewer bills will also increase by 2.3 percent, or roughly $21 annually for the average household.
Town staff members say the budget includes funding for projects like repairs to the HVAC system at the Pyramid Recreation Centre pools, reconstructing a stretch of Wellington Street South, and improvements to walking trails.
