Perth OPP have arrested a 21-year-old male and charged him with aggravated assault after an incident with an edged weapon in Listowel.
The accused is in custody pending a bail hearing, OPP said in a media release sent out Thursday morning.
OPP began investigating an assault between 3:15 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street West and Mitchell Road South on Aug. 10.
One person was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital.
