The Avon Maitland District School Board has announced Riley Culhane as superintendent of education, effective September 1st.
He replaces April Smith who is leaving at the end of the month.
Culhane will lead the K to 12 Program Department and oversee the schools that Smith supported.
Culhane most recently worked for the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB). He also worked as an elementary school administrator and educator and worked as a speech-language pathologist and child and youth worker.
