Residents can drop off hazardous waste at the city landfill site this weekend.
It’s a chance to dispose of items around your residence such as paint, fuels, batteries, cleaners, light bulbs and propane tanks.
Professionals will be on site to accept the items.
The landfill site opens at 8 a.m. Saturday for regular waste drop-off, but hazardous waste won’t be accepted until 9 a.m. and it can be dropped off until 4 p.m.
Another hazardous waste drop off is scheduled for Oct. 26.
