The Downtown Stratford BIA reminds residents that Downtown Dollars are available for purchase up until Dec. 23 at 5 p.m. at Destination Stratford.
According to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, for every dollar spent at a small business, over 65 cents stays local.
This is compared to 11 cents of every dollar staying in the community when shopping at a large corporation.
