The City of Stratford’s social services department has announced free income tax clinics for low-income residents for individuals and couples within Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County.
Residents receiving social assistance, such as ODSP or Ontario Works, are also eligible.
The gross annual income threshold for participating in these clinics is $16,000 or less for individuals, or $32,000 or less for couples.
For single seniors, the eligibility amount is $25,396 or less, and for senior couples the amount is $34,346.
To register for the clinic, contact City of Stratford’s Social Services Clerks at 519-271-3773 at ext. 6208.
Registration is required by March 19.
An appointment time will then be provided for document delivery between March 20 and March 27.
