UPDATE: Winter weather travel advisory ends for Stratford, parts of Perth County

UPDATE: The weather advisory ended Wednesday afternoon. 

A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for Stratford and southern Perth County.

What: Snowfall amounts up to 5 cm. Reduced visibility in areas of heavier snow.

When: Wednesday, March 26.

Additional information: Bursts of heavy flurries are affecting the region this morning. Up to 5 cm of snow may accumulate quickly. Flurries are expected to taper later this morning. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
