Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says Clinton Public Hospital emergency department is closing tonight (June 27) at 8 p.m. and will reopen again on Sunday at 8 a.m.
Staff shortages were noted as the reason.
Regular hours, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., will resume Sunday, at which point the emergency department will close again, with services resuming Tuesday at 8 a.m.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1. Paramedics will remain available to the community and will re-route to the nearest available emergency department.
