North Perth resident faces spousal assault charges

Huron OPP have charged a North Perth resident after an investigation into intimate partner violence.

Police responded June 28 to a residence in Howick. A 42-year-old is charged with assault – spousal, assault with a weapon – spousal, assault and two counts of mischief – domestic.

Charges will be addressed at Ontario Court of Justice next month.

Police remind victims of intimate partner violence are not alone and local resources are available to help, including Victim Services of Huron at www.victimserviceshuron.ca or by calling toll free at 1-866-863-4108, or 1-519-600-4108.
