The City wants your feedback on a plan to help the homeless in Stratford.
On Thursday, the city announced its social services department is making a new housing and homelessness plan.
The goal is to guide how the city can deliver important services to those in need in Stratford, Perth County and St. Marys over the next decade.
As part of the process, the city is “planning community consultations in Stratford, St. Marys, and Listowel.”
In a media release, the city asks to “help shape the four priority areas of our plan: Ending Homelessness, Creating Attainable Housing Options, Sustaining Community Housing, and Addressing a Diversity of Needs,”
Three sessions will take place throughout August.
City Hall Auditorium is the venue for the first on Aug. 12, followed by one at the Pyramid Centre in St. Marys Aug. 20, before holding the final session at Listowel’s Steve Kerr Memorial Complex Community Room Aug. 21.
Sessions run from 5-6 p.m.
If you can’t attend any session, you can provide feedback via survey at the Engage Stratford website, set to open Aug. 11.
