The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is warning people to stay away from watercourses over the next few days.
Some flooding is possible due to the rain and warmer temperatures.
Minor localized flooding may also be an issue in urban areas.
The Authority is also reminding everyone that ice on waterways is unstable and dangerous, and that the water is cold and fast moving.
They are monitoring the situation, and will report on any changing conditions as needed.
